I just got a note from Dany Mitchell. He is closing Trattoria Mitchelli in Pioneer Square forever at 2 a.m., Jan. 1. His wife has already moved to Provence and he is about to join her. 33 years. It makes me sad, but I had some of my favorite times and dinners there when I headed up the Washington Wine Institute. So the memories will linger. Great deals on food and wine between now and then if you are thinking about a holiday occasion for family and friends.

Quotes are handled a little differently here than they were on ezBoard. There, you got a Quote:, and lines above and below the quotation. Here, you get nothing but indentation (and a xxxx wrote:, with a single line above the quote, if you clicked on "Quote" to enter the reply mode).

It seems like a good time to start a new thread, so here's Tiko's original post that began the whole thing...
